          The following print and video resources are designed to support student research for the Farmville Tour Guides Project.  It is highly suggested that all groups start their research by throughly examining the content of the PowerPoint that appears below - it serves as an excellent summary of the thirteen year struggle for an integrated school system in Prince Edward County, Virginia. This in-depth slideshow will provide contextual background for all nine groups participating in this project.  More specific materials that address individual topics are also listed below.
